In 1999, Porcelain Products Co. of Carey, Ohio acquired the porcelain manufacturing facility in Macomb, Illinois from Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Industries and entered into an agreement to provide components to Cooper. According to the Courier Electronic Edition, the Macomb plant manufactured porcelain used in distribution equipment.
