Ohio Brass Commemorative

U-320 Porcelain insulator.  It is number 41 of a limited production of 200 glazed with volcanic ashfall from Mount St. Helens. Ohio Brass Pintype Insulator #29207 Limited Production. The ash material was collected at Ephrata, Washington, 150 miles from the eruption. There is a certificate signed by the ceramist guaranteeing its authenticity. The insulator’s typical application is at 7.2 kV; it is dark brown and tan in color. Sold on eBay for $58 on Feb. 12, 2003
