In an e-mail to Rick Soller dated 2/21/01, Jimmy Colburn, noted expert on LRIs, writes regarding an unembossed Otis LRI on eBay that "I have seen just three others in the past 22 years of collecting.... These are
always SCA. One of those that I saw had no point, but the others had the
cap and point. These are quite rare I believe."
